22nd JUNE 2014: GOING WHERE PEOPLE ARE LIVING
The Oratory of Don Bosco was and is an opening to new frontiers; it is for young people who live in the “periphery” of the society, the Oratory acts “on front line”. This is true not only in figurative sense! For this reason the Matadi Mission operates inside and outside the fence of the compound. We choose to go where people lives. Part of this vision is visiting the sick in the hospitals, the prisoners, acting the Station of the Cross on Good Friday along the streets of the quarter, celebrating the Eucharist on the open square in diverse zones of our Parish.
