18th january 2014: DON BOSCO SEMINAR

We start the celebration for the Feast of Saint John Bosco 2014 with a Seminar on Don Bosco his spirituality and his educative style. It has been organized by the Don Bosco Sean Devereux youth Centre. More than 80 youths of the Oratory participated. After the lessons given by a mother-teacher, a young newly ordained salesian priest living in 8th Str. from sierra Leone and the Youth Director Fr. Raphael, the youths divided in groups to study how to apply the Preventive System here in Matadi.  Other activities are in program: the Novena organized by the Parish of Holy Innocents, the Sport competition among the Schools of Monrovia, the Mass for the students of MHCCHS presided by the Catholic Apostolic Nuntio in Liberia, the Celebration of the 31st evening to whom the laymen our collaborators  are invited, a Drama prepared by the young Animators. It is the first year that the new Community in Matadi is celebrating the feast here. This will prepare the one of 2015 when we will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birthday of Don Bosco.
